Remarks:
a means 'one'. do not use it with a plural noun.

The adjective from is absent. Absence is a noun (e.g. his absence was noticed by the director)

Advance is a verb, Before a Noun, use the adjective form advanced

He gave me some advice (correct)
Advice is uncountable. donot use it with plural-s, or with an. say some advice or a piece of advice.
